Los que en algún momento de nuestra vida hemos tenido un perro, sabemos muy bien lo que se les puede llegar a querer y como el perro se convierte, con el tiempo, en un miembro más de la familia con el que hay que contar para todo lo que se haga.
Un perro entiende, a veces sorprendentemente, la mayor parte de las cosas que le decimos y es capaz de cualquier cosa por protegernos o incluso para alegrarnos si nos ve tristes o preocupados. Nos echa de menos, se alegra cuando llegamos y necesita nuestro contacto.
Nuestro perro tiene su lugar en casa y en la familia, no es un humano pero tampoco es un juguete y necesita cuidados y parte de nuestro tiempo libre.
No valen excusas, no importa si llegamos tarde a casa, no importa que llueva, aunque a mi perro no le gusta nada la lluvia, ni que haga mucho frío o mucho calor, el perro necesita salir y relacionarse.

Educarle no es difícil aunque hay que ser firme y muy constante; el perro sólo subirá al sofá si le dejas, comerá a las horas y en los sitios que le marques y se acostumbrará perfectamente a las normas que le pongas.
Cada uno tiene su carácter, yo he visto perros que en cuanto ven agua se lanzan a bañarse y otros que huyen de ella, los hay que prefieren tumbarse a tus pies o a tu lado y otros prefieren hacerlo a cierta distancia, los hay sumisos y dominantes y cada uno necesita un trato diferente.
Si estás pensando en tener uno es importante, antes de nada, plantearte que tamaño de perro quieres, yo tuve un Samoyedo, es un perro grande que necesita muchos cuidados y mucha actividad física, mínimo dos horas diarias y en un espacio abierto donde pueda correr sin problemas, ahora tengo una perrita pequeña, una Schnauzer mini, muy tranquila que necesita pequeños paseos y mucha compañía.

No obstante, lo más importante a la hora de decidirte es pensar si estás dispuesto a modificar tu vida y tus hábitos para tener un perro en casa.
La decisión, una vez tomada, es irreversible. Piénsalo muy bien y si te animas estoy segura de que no te arrepentirás.

Educating him is not difficult, although you have to be firm and very constant; the dog will only go up to the sofa if you let him, he will eat at the hours and in the places that you mark and he will get used to the rules that you put him.
Each has its own character, I’ve seen dogs that run into water when they see it, and others that run away from it, there are those who prefer to lie down on your feet or on your side and others prefer to do it at a distance, there are submissive and dominant and each one needs a different treatment.
