Si quieres ver y tocar lo último en móviles deberás ir el 26 de febrero a Barcelona al Congreso Mundial de Móbiles y si quieres ver y tocar la televisión del futuro deberías haber ido en enero a Las Vegas, el CES es la feria más grande e importante del mundo en tecnología de consumo. Esta feria ha demostrado que nuestros televisores se van a quedar obsoletos en dos o tres años.
En estos últimos años los televisores han aumentado considerablemente de tamaño, se ha reducido su grosor, se han curvado, se manejan desde el móvil, hemos pasado del 4K al 8K, el número de pixels ha crecido de forma desorbitada y parece que eso de que un televisor dure 10 años es algo que pertenece al pasado.
LG ha presentado una pantalla enrollable, como un poster, un panel de 66 pulgadas que sale y se guarda en una caja portátil, en esta caja se esconde el sistema electrónico que la hace funcionar.
Tecnología LCD, tecnología OLED, parece que lo último no es ni uno ni otro, Samsung apuesta por la tecnología MICROLED de 146 pulgadas, por lo visto el brillo y los colores de los televisores que emplean esta tecnología son extraordinarios.
También está el sonido, ahora podemos hablar con Siri, en poco tiempo podremos hablar también con nuestro televisor. Alexa y Bixby no hablan de momento nuestro idioma pero Google Assistant ya habla castellano y en breve la voz sustituirá al mando.
Samsung, LG, Panasonic, todas se preparan para llegar a tiempo a 2020, cuando se celebren los Juegos Olímpicos de Tokio que será la primera retransmisión en 8k.
Para entonces, si he ahorrado lo suficiente, será el momento de cambiar de televisor.
